Endpoint Security Engineer

About the Job:
The Endpoint Security Engineer will manage and maintain security devices, tools, and products implemented at the company for day-to-day tasks. This role includes regular monitoring of security logs and events for IT security devices to review security events and alerts, proactively detecting actual or potential attacks to the company network. The incumbent will respond to attack attempts, contain incidents, and follow security hardening baselines and guidelines while generating required reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and monitor security devices, security tools, and products at the company.
• Configure security devices according to best practices and vendor guidelines.
• Perform regular security device health checks and update security devices with the latest stable software and signature releases.
• Ensure that company user PCs are secured against malware attacks, confidential data loss, and identity theft.
• Provide incident response support and level 2 support for any security incidents reported by the Command Center.
• Maintain compliance with published policies and procedures, including ITIL processes and ISO standards.
• Ensure satisfactory departmental audits with no high-risk findings.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge:

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 services.
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.

Additional Requirements:

• On-call availability for critical alerts/issues reported by the company Command Center after working hours, weekends, and public holidays, with proper escalation to the Manager of IT Security Operations.
• Ability to work in compliance with company processes related to HR, Legal, and Sharia.
