Endpoint Security Operations Team Leader

About the Job
Role Purpose:

• Manage and maintain security devices, tools/products implemented at the company for day-to-day tasks.
• Regularly monitor security logs and events for IT security devices to review alerts and proactively detect actual or potential attacks to the company's network.
• Provide administrative, organizational, and technical support to assist the Manager – IT Security Operations in accomplishing department tasks and act as the backup in the Manager’s absence.
• Follow security hardening baselines/guidelines and generate compliance reports.
• Be available on-call for critical alerts/issues reported by the company's Command Center after working hours, weekends, and public holidays, ensuring proper escalation to the Manager of IT Security Operations.
• Optimize, automate, and streamline services provided by IT Security Operations.
• Ensure compliance with published policies and procedures (PMO, ITIL processes, ISO 9001 & 27001) by adhering to what has been documented.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of required documentation and status reporting to management.
• Ensure compliance with the company's processes (HR, Legal & Sharia) related to ITD.
• Ensure satisfactory department audit results with no high-risk findings, resolving any findings within agreed timeframes.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in an IT environment (systems and/or endpoint/networks security).
• Professional Certification: CISSP, CCNA, McAfee/TrendMicro Antivirus, or other security certifications.
• Strong understanding of information security systems, methodologies, and best practices.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO/IEC 17799-27001, COBIT, etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot incidents until root cause resolutions are achieved.
• Good leadership, team building, and mentoring skills.
• Strong budgeting and project management skills.
• Self-learner with a passion for IT security and adaptability to changing requirements.
