Key Accountabilities
- Support planning and execution of evaluation and boarding activities for all new networks according to the Yearly Plan.
- Ensure proper evaluation of all new networks by participating in RFP processes, design, development, and lab testing.
- Keep Network Operations up to date with regular progress reports.
- Proactively engage in negotiations with key partners as needed.
- Define, ensure effectiveness and efficiency of processes related to evaluation and boarding of new networks to minimize risks of outages and control post-boarding costs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and company governance requirements.
- Define service standards and SLAs for the unit in line with business objectives.
- Coordinate and support Security Risk Assessments and associated Risk Management reviews for the Service Operations team.
- Act as Domain Risk Advisor for Service Operations in coordination with security teams.
- Evaluate VA Scan reports and collaborate with the planning team to mitigate vulnerabilities related to telecom and IT systems.
- Oversee compliance with software upgrade and patching processes for all network nodes and systems.
- Serve as the Service Operations SPOC for Internal Control Observations raised by internal audit teams.
- Provide administrative and functional support for ad-hoc and ongoing organizational audits and improvement projects concerning people, processes, and systems within the company.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, Network Engineering, or IT (telecom equivalent acceptable).
Experience
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the telecommunications or hi-tech industry.
- Familiarity with ISO/TL9000 Framework.
- Knowledge of ITIL Framework.
