Position

The job owner is accountable for the evaluation and boarding activities of all new core & cloud projects and IT infrastructure to be in compliance with the company-approved targets and procedures. The job owner is responsible for assessing information, risk, and facilitating remediation of identified vulnerabilities for IT Infrastructure and Network across the enterprise. Supports Internal Audit objectives administratively and functionally.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support planning and execution of evaluation and boarding activities of all new networks, according to the Yearly Plan.
  • Ensure proper evaluation of all new networks by participating in the RFP process, design, development, and lab testing.
  • Keep Network Operations up to date with regular progress reports.
  • Proactively involve in negotiation with key partners when needed.
  • Define, ensure effectiveness and efficiency, maintain and update all the processes related to the evaluation and boarding of all new networks to minimize the risks of outages and post-boarding costs overruns.
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to regulatory, statutory, and company governance requirements.
  • Define standards of service/SLA’s for the unit in line with business objectives.
  • Coordinate & support Security Risk Assessments and associated Risk Management reviews for the entire Service Operations team.
  • Act as the Domain Risk Advisor for Service Operations in coordination with security teams.
  • Evaluate VA Scan reports and coordinate with the planning team to mitigate vulnerabilities related to telecom and IT systems.
  • Responsible for compliance of SW upgrade and patching process for all network nodes and systems.
  • Serve as the Service Operations SPOC for Internal Control Observations raised by internal audit teams.
  • Support administratively and functionally in ad-hoc and regular organizational audits and other projects to improve people, processes, and systems within the company.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in computer, electrical, network engineering, or IT (any telecom equivalent).

Experience

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the telecommunications/hi-tech industry.
  • ISO/TL9000 Framework expertise.
  • ITIL Framework knowledge.
