Engineer - Audio

The Engineer - Audio will be responsible for driving and continuously improving audio technical standards and best practices within the company. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Audio team members to review departmental progress, system performance, and technical requirements; researching new audio technologies, equipment, and industry developments, and sharing relevant knowledge with the team; training, supervising, and mentoring technicians and crew in the safe setup, operation, and maintenance of audio equipment; and working as part of the Audio team both on-site and off-site across various event scales.

Additionally, the role entails configuring and optimizing audio systems at an advanced level, including system tuning and alignment, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of professional audio equipment, leading by example to maintain professional conduct, and interacting directly with clients on-site in a professional and customer-oriented manner. The Engineer - Audio will also run audio for shows of all sizes, assist Project Managers with audio planning, provide technical and operational support to the Head of Department, manage audio projects and teams in the absence of a Project Manager, perform repairs on professional and high-end audio equipment when necessary, and build and install audio systems on-site independently, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
