We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Data Engineer who possesses the relevant knowledge to ensure compliance with UAE and international data privacy laws. The role involves developing secure data pipelines and maintaining data integrity during migration while collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging advanced analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with UAE and international data privacy laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain secure data pipelines.
- Implement data encryption, anonymization, and access controls.
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality during migration.
- Coordinate with international offices to adhere to data security standards.
- Plan and execute data migration strategies focused on data privacy.
- Conduct post-migration data validation and testing to ensure data integrity.
- Regularly review and update data privacy policies and procedures.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Zero data breaches during and after migration.
- High compliance rate with UAE and international data privacy regulations.
- High data quality and integrity.
- Efficient data processing and transformation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in data engineering with a focus on data privacy and protection.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, including UAE data protection laws and GDPR.
- Experience with data encryption, anonymization, and access controls.
- Proficiency in SQL, AWS, and data processing software.
- Strong analytical skills to work with large, complex datasets.
- Familiarity with data integrity validation techniques and tools.
Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is expected; additional languages may be beneficial depending on international collaboration.
