Engineer, Cybersecurity III

About the Job:
The cybersecurity engineer plays a critical role in safeguarding essential operational assets. This position involves designing, reviewing, and auditing cybersecurity solutions to defend against cyberattacks, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and audit network, endpoint, and application security solutions.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats.
• Analyze security logs and events to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other professionals in the Operational Technology (OT) environment.
• Participate in the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration of security into operational processes.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences about cybersecurity issues.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a relevant field; an advanced degree is desirable.
• At least 2+ years of experience in Operational Technology.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Skills Required:

• Experience working in business-critical environments, industrial networks, operating systems, coding, and software analysis.
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies.
• Professional cybersecurity certification is preferred.
