As a Data Science Engineer, you will assess complex data sources and translate them into actionable business insights. Your responsibilities will include demonstrating data concepts visually, implementing new data sources into the Big Data platform, and collaborating with a diverse team to ensure data quality and effective communication.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Data Warehouse/Data Lake plans for products.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and analysts to understand data needs.
- Build data expertise and ensure data quality.
- Design, build, and launch new Data Models and data ETL processes in production.
- Define/manage SLAs for data sets.
- Address infrastructure issues in data systems.
- Communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with Big Data technologies.
- 2+ years of experience in developing deep learning models, especially in image processing/computer vision.
- Familiarity with Elastic, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Docker, and cloud providers (GCP, AWS).
- Proficient in Python and experience with version management tools (GitHub, GitLab).
- Additional experience with geospatial libraries is a plus.
