Key Accountability Areas
- Perform erection, testing, and commissioning of Power/Distribution transformers at site and factory.
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing of power/distribution transformers.
- Inspect transformers upon arrival and perform necessary tests.
- Check the availability of all the accessories for the transformer.
- Check the impact recorders and collect data from them.
- Determine requirements for crane or other equipment for the assembly or disassembly of the transformer at sites/factory.
- Conduct routine electrical tests of transformers in the factory and at the site as per international standards.
- Execute low voltage electrical tests at the site.
- Plan day-to-day site activities for the timely completion of the job.
- Oversee the erection of transformer accessories, vacuuming, oil filtration as per established quality procedures.
- Perform in-process testing of transformers during various stages of repair/manufacturing.
- Coordinate with marketing, planning, and customers for gate passes/work permits for job execution.
- Ensure best practices are followed for the testing of Power and Distribution transformers.

- Delegate tasks to subordinates for each respective assignment.

- Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.

- Resolve any related problems and escalate any complex operational issues.

- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control processes, including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
- Business Process Improvement (Effectiveness):
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities whenever possible.
- Compliance:
- Comply with related policies and procedures and work instructions.
- Health & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products and services.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
