Key Accountability Areas
- Perform erection, testing, and commissioning of Power/Distribution transformers at site and factory.
- Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing of power/distribution transformers.
- Inspect transformers upon arrival and perform necessary tests.
- Check the availability of all the accessories for the transformer.
- Monitor and check impact recorders and collect data from them.
- Assess requirements for cranes or other equipment for the assembly or disassembly of transformers at sites/factory.
- Execute routine electrical tests of transformers in the factory and at the site as per international standards.
- Carry out low voltage electrical tests at the site.
- Plan day-to-day site activities to ensure timely job completion.
- Manage the erection of transformer accessories, vacuuming, and oil filtration according to laid down quality procedures.
- Conduct in-process testing of transformers during various stages of repair/manufacturing.
- Coordinate with marketing, planning, and customers for gate passes/work permits required for job execution.
- Ensure best practices are followed for testing Power and Distribution transformers.

- Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.

- Address and resolve related problems, escalating any complex operational issues as needed.

- Maintain quality requirements to develop effective quality control processes, including specifications for products or related activities.

- Coordinate written systems, policies, procedures, and explore automation opportunities.

- Adhere to related policies, procedures, and work instructions.

- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
