Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for execution of regional field tests and laboratory test support.
- Execute field tests at customer sites by placing instrumentation, routing cables, interfacing data acquisition equipment, operating software, and preparing traceable documentation to collect quality test data as per procedures.
- Serve as a point of contact for the development of test procedures for field samples in alignment with regional/business needs, updating processes per international standards.
- Design and construct lab test facilities, test rigs, and instrumentation systems; operate relevant test software.
- Upgrade knowledge as necessary and propose ideas for simplification.
- Perform periodic calibrations and maintain test equipment according to ISO procedures.
- Report test results and daily site activities promptly to stakeholders.
- Adhere to all safety and EHS guidelines, assist in audits, maintain logs, and address open issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing, Material, Instrumentation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in field and/or lab testing, handling instrumentation, or testing procedures.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites in the GCC and globally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English.
- Legal right to work in the GCC without company sponsorship or time restrictions.
Desired Characteristics
- Experience using AI tools.
- Master’s degree in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Experience handling laboratory analytical and data acquisition equipment.
- Good presentation and communication skills in Arabic.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies, software tools, and other relevant areas.
- Familiarity with different types of sensors, their working principles, and usage scenarios.
- Knowledge of lab quality certification and documentation.
- Working knowledge of test software such as LabVIEW or coding languages such as C/C++ or Python.
- Understanding of 5S principles and active engagement with AI is an asset.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
