Engineer - Fleet Management

The Gas Turbine Product Service Engineer will provide technical guidance and support to both internal and external customers regarding Gas Turbines. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving customer technical issues related to Gas Turbines, ranging from day-to-day troubleshooting to major and complex root cause analyses with long-term implications for the company and our customers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support the installed base, including activities such as customer issue resolution, fleet issues, service bulletin implementation, monitoring & diagnostics, and fleet configuration. Maintenance of fleet data and outage management.
• Develop conceptual knowledge of professional discipline, including support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in a broad area.
• Apply general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience and understand how the work of your team contributes to the area.
• Resolve issues using established procedures and consult with supervisors or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• Collaborate with others to solve issues and exchange technical information, asking questions and checking for understanding.

Required Qualifications

• BSc in Engineering, specifically in Mechanical, Chemical, Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Industrial.
• Basic knowledge in at least one or more of the following domains related to Gas Turbines (either annular or can-annular):
  • Operation and maintenance
  • Services and troubleshooting
  • Engineering and design
  • Combustion operability
  • Root cause investigation / technical issue resolution
