Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Build reusable UI components and frontend libraries for long-term scalability
- Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, security, and cross-browser compatibility
- Lead frontend architecture decisions and establish engineering best practices
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level engineers
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and services
- Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and product roadmap execution
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, frontend testing strategies, and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend production issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and at least one modern framework (React, Vue, or Angular)
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
- Experience with state management (e.g., Redux, MobX)
- Familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel, etc.)
- Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, and real-time data (WebSockets)
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and agile methodologies
Ideally, you should have
- Experience with Next.js or other SSR frameworks
- Understanding of frontend performance profiling and accessibility (WCAG) standards
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs
