Position Overview:
We are seeking a customer-focused, self-driven, and results-oriented Full Stack Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building a business intelligence platform, working from both the front-end and back-end, primarily using the React tech stack. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, and Software Engineers to research, design, implement, and enhance functionalities of the annotation platform as part of a Big Data analytics system at the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop visually appealing front-end website architecture, including translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code
- Create functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back end
- Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile
- Design and develop RESTful services and APIs
- Stay updated on developments in web applications and programming languages
- Ensure non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are considered in architecture solutions
- Maintain job knowledge up-to-date through ongoing education and professional networking
- Comply with QHSE policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to necessary risk assessments and governance standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in full-stack web development
- 3+ years of experience coding in React.js
- 2+ years of experience in at least one backend language (Java, Node.js, Python, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of computer science principles and algorithms
- Knowledge of web fundamentals: HTML5/CSS3, protocols, modern web standards
- Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience building single-page applications with React or any other component-based framework
- Strong understanding of state management in front-end applications (production experience with MobX or Redux preferred)
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Knowledge of RESTful API design
- Experience with popular UI component libraries
- Understanding of Machine Learning and Large Language Models (LLM)
- Experience with DevOps tasks like CI/CD
- Experience in cloud infrastructure and reliability engineering
