ABOUT THE ROLE
The Engineer I for Halcon will support the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware and embedded firmware, while contributing to system performance analysis, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of electronic systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and test digital and analog electronic circuits, modules, and systems.
  • Support embedded firmware development, PCB design, integration, and system testing.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting, testing, and performance analysis using electronic measurement instruments.
  • Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation and collaborate with engineers and technicians on new designs and system improvements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Electronic, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic module design involving both hardware and firmware.
  • Practical knowledge of analog/digital electronics, PCB design, system testing, and electronic measurement equipment.
  • Hands-on programming experience with Embedded C and Python, with good analytical and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in the complete electronics development lifecycle, from circuit/PCB design and firmware development through integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to electronic system architecture, performance analysis, and development of test/support hardware.
