Engineer I, Platform Integration

About the Job:
The platform integration system engineering role involves understanding requirements, chairing technical meetings, and communicating with weapon system engineers. Key responsibilities include writing Interface Control Documents (ICD), performing and planning test and evaluation, conducting qualifications, and mentoring new system engineers in the department.

Job Scope:

• Establish integration requirement documents and end-user requirements.
• Establish integration specifications and scope of work.
• Establish Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and System Engineering Management Plan (SEMP) for platform integration.
• Maintain the interfaces between the platform and the weapon.
• Manage new development projects and transfer of know-how, providing tasks for new system engineers.
• Engage in integration projects within the platform integration department.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering science or system engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar engineering role.
• Proficient in system engineering documentation, upgrading platforms, and integrating weapons into platforms.
• Experience in dealing with end users and customers.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and knowledge of system logic protocols.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Commercial awareness and analytical thinking.
• Understanding of Lean principles.
