Engineer I, Platform Integration

The company has developed in-house capabilities across the entire value chain for gravity-release bomb guidance systems, including design, development, testing, manufacturing, and assembly. The role involves platform integration system engineering, which includes understanding requirements, chairing technical meetings, and collaborating with weapon system engineers. Responsibilities also include writing Interface Control Documents (ICDs), planning testing and evaluation, and mentoring new system engineers in the department.

Key Accountabilities:

• Establish integration requirement documents and end-user requirements
• Establish integration specifications and scope of work
• Establish Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP) for platform integration
• Maintain interfaces between the platform and the weapon
• Manage new development projects
• Transfer knowledge and provide tasks for new system engineers
• Oversee integration projects in the platform integration department

Required Skills and Experiences:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering science or systems engineering
• 5 years of experience in a similar engineering role
• Proficiency in systems engineering documentation
• Experience in upgrading platforms and integrating weapons into platforms
• Capability to interact with end users and customers
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of system logic protocols
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Commercial awareness and analytical thinking
• Understanding of Lean principles
