About The Role: As an Engineer II IFE, you will be responsible for delivering cutting-edge in-flight entertainment (IFE) and connectivity solutions to enhance the passenger experience. You will support the Manager of Technical Services In-Flight Entertainment & Connectivity in ensuring that the company's fleet is safe, compliant, reliable, on-time, and defect-free.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for IFE & Connectivity systems, managing defect resolution efficiently.
  • Drive airworthiness compliance through the strategic implementation of Airworthiness Directives, mandatory modifications, Service Bulletins, and STCs.
  • Provide strategic technical guidance, organize workload prioritization for critical issues, and collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Maintain partnerships with vendors, OEMs, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders for innovative solutions.
  • Develop engineering instructions and technical reports, and create comprehensive procedural documentation.

This position plays a crucial role in enhancing passenger connectivity and operational excellence, contributing to the company's vision of becoming a world-class service brand.

About You:

  • Degree in Aviation, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Commercial Aviation Engineering within a Part-CAMO environment, with expertise in Technical Services for IFE & Connectivity.
  • Proven experience in aircraft modifications, upgrade programs, and OEM technical support.
  • Strong project management and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities and the capacity to influence across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in airline operations.
  • Familiarity with AMOS as a Maintenance Information System (MIS).
  • Passion for integrating customer feedback into technical solutions.
