ABOUT THE ROLE
This position requires a strong technical expertise in the design of DC and AC switchgear for low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) systems. Successful candidates will have proficiency with electrical CAD tools for schematic design and documentation, such as EPLAN, WSCAD, Creo, or equivalent e-CAD software. A solid understanding of electrical power distribution systems, particularly within automotive applications, is essential. Familiarity with automotive and/or industrial instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors, as well as the associated control hardware will be advantageous.

Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the design, development, and validation of electrical systems in accordance with project and customer requirements.
- Supporting cross-functional collaboration to ensure system integration and compliance with applicable standards.
- Participating in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting activities with a hands-on approach.
- Translating customer requirements into clear and structured technical and project specifications.
PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES
Candidates should possess a hands-on, practical mindset with the ability to support prototype development. The role demands effectiveness in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. A background or experience in the Defense Industry is considered a strong advantage.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor degree in Electrics, Electronics, Software Engineering, Physics or a related field is required; a Master degree is preferred.
- Five to Ten years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience in the Defense Industry is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Software Package is preferred.
- Effective communication skills in English, both in writing and verbally, are required.
- Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid UAE driver’s license.
