ABOUT THE ROLE
The position involves significant technical expertise in the design, simulation, and testing of power conversion devices including DC/DC, DC/AC Converters, SMPS, Inverter, and/or Motor Drives. Key responsibilities include:
- Working with electrical/electronic CAD tools for schematic/PCB design and technical documentation generation (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics, KiCAD or equivalent e-CAD software).
- Managing electronic hardware development throughout the full product lifecycle, particularly within automotive applications, from concept and design through manufacturing, testing, and validation.
- Understanding electronic hardware architecture, along with component selection, thermal management, and reliability considerations.
- Applying EMI/EMC design practices and ensuring compliance with requirements pertinent to automotive and industrial environments.
- Engaging in firmware development and reverse engineering electronic hardware.
- Demonstrating familiarity with international standards relevant to electronic product development such as IPC Series IPC-2220, IPC-A-600, IPC-6012B, IPC-A-610 and their MIL-STD equivalents.
- Troubleshooting failure modes in electronic hardware.
- Adopting system-level design principles aligned with a systems engineering approach, translating customer requirements into structured technical specifications.
- Contributing to the design, development, and validation of electrical systems according to project and customer needs.
- Supporting cross-functional collaboration to ensure system integration and compliance with applicable standards.
- Participating in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting activities with a practical, hands-on approach.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electric, Electronics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Seven to ten years of relevant experience is expected.
- Previous experience in the Defense Industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Software Package is preferred.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
