Key Accountabilities:
- Assume technical authority for the performance of product systems throughout their life cycles.
- Perform mission analysis, requirements definition, architectural definition, and verification and validation.
- Manage technical processes including planning, decision-making, risk management, and configuration management.
- Generate engineering outputs including:
- User Requirements Specifications
- Concept of Use and Concept of Operation documentation
- Development Specifications or Technical Requirements
- Architectural and functional design
- Technical trade-off analysis
- Prepare System Engineering Management Plan, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Qualification Plans, and Acceptance Test Procedures.
- Define requirements for design reviews and ensure alignment with requirements.
- Manage integration and control between system elements for successful integration.
- Support verification and validation activities.
- Implement Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) in projects.
- Review and approve technical documentation from team members and conduct technical work-sessions.
- Identify shortcomings and propose improvements in company procedures.
- Provide guidance and coaching to team members to build knowledge and expertise.
Knowledge/Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's in Engineering with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Master's in Engineering with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- PhD in Engineering with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the UAE or Middle East is desirable.
- Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification from the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) or equivalent certification is desirable.
- Experience in the defense industry related to Systems Engineering practices.
- Familiarity with military standards and specifications, as well as MBSE and/or engineering specialty software is desirable.
