An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineer III in Electrical Reliability, based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Tasnee was established in 1985 as Saudi Arabia's first fully owned joint-stock industrial company, aimed at advancing economic diversification.
Position Summary:
The Electrical Reliability Engineer is responsible for guiding efforts to ensure the reliability and maintainability of electrical assets. This role champions the implementation of reliability best practices and evaluates new technology and ideas to continuously improve the reliability of the plant’s electrical and control systems.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering solutions for chronic and sporadic equipment reliability problems, collaborating with engineering, operations, and maintenance to implement these solutions.
- Provide authoritative technical expertise and lead troubleshooting activities to resolve complex problems related to electrical assets.
- Manage the electrical bad actor management process, conducting analyses and taking appropriate actions to eliminate recurring failures.
- Lead and develop the maintenance strategy for electrical assets.
- Support the maintenance team in creating electrical maintenance procedures.
- Provide technical support for electrical activities during turnaround preparation and execution.
- Develop, monitor, and present KPIs for electrical assets and prepare monthly reports.
- Lead or participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigations related to electrical assets.
- Participate in reliability methodologies such as RCM and FMEA as a subject matter expert for electrical assets.
- Support the development and evaluation of management of change related to electrical assets.
- Identify and define cost-effective engineering improvements and provide technical evaluations, including alternative solutions.
- Participate in the final check-out of new installations, including FAT and site acceptance testing to ensure adherence to functional specifications.
- Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum Experience:
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
