AIQ is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer responsible for designing and maintaining robust data pipelines, integrating and optimizing machine learning algorithms, and contributing to high-performance APIs and data management systems. This role requires collaboration with data science and engineering teams to enhance database scalability and ensure efficient, high-quality data workflows supporting AI-driven solutions for the energy sector.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality data outputs in storage, extraction, and integration activities.
- Develop and maintain data management systems, optimizing data workflows, pipelines, and storage.
- Collaborate with data science teams to integrate and optimize algorithms used in product solutions and services.
- Contribute to API creation for accessing, transforming, and delivering analytical data to technology stakeholders.
- Design and implement improvements for database performance, capacity, and scalability.
- Support data science and software engineering teams with technical challenges.
- Develop standards, tools, and governance for capturing and delivering data.
- Produce ongoing data engineering work and suggest improvements for efficiency and quality.
- Ensure self-development to maintain high-quality standards in project work.
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes excellence through feedback and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: Master’s or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas or Energy industry.
- Skills:
- Proficient communication skills
- Ability to prioritize workloads independently and as a team player
- Advanced knowledge in modern programming languages and data engineering practices
- Advanced knowledge of databases and application security
