Overview:
The Engineer - Mobile Service Platform ensures the stable and efficient operation of mobile service platform systems by performing daily operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting system upgrades. This role is critical in maintaining high service availability and quality for voice and packet services.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily operations and first-level maintenance of ground systems (hardware and software).
  • Monitor system performance, analyze reports, and identify anomalies.
  • Investigate and resolve faults in voice and packet networks, including Packet and Voice Gateways.
  • Escalate complex issues to vendors and ensure follow-through to resolution.
  • Support system upgrades, installation, testing (RTB and live), and commissioning of new systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams (Technology, Operations, Customer Care).
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and maintain system records and inventory.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and ensure regular system backups.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support and respond to emergencies.
  • Support CAB activities and ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer.
  • Maintain high system availability and service quality.
  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents and faults.
  • Take immediate action on operational faults within defined procedures and escalate critical issues with recommendations.
  • Collaborate in a highly technical telecom operations environment requiring coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in telecom operations.
  • Knowledge of GSM/2G and basic 4G (RAN, eNodeB).
  • Understanding of voice and packet networks.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and reporting skills.
