Key Accountabilities
- Network / Service Surveillance and Team Handling during the Shift.
- Reporting Critical and Major issues to Management as per the process.
- Timely escalation of critical network issues to service partners, stakeholders, and management team as per the company escalation matrix.
- Management Notification & Escalation as per the company escalation matrix.
- Perform Traffic re-engineering, link capacity upgrades, and nodes version upgrades to handle KPI degradation complaints due to limitations over the wireless network.
- Initiate & Manage performance and acceptance requests.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify all wireless network-related issues and other related impairments escalated from other departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in NOC operations.
- Proven expertise in network troubleshooting and incident resolution.
- Must be able to work effectively in a 24 x 7 x 365 environment.
- Experienced in using monitoring tools such as Huawei NCE, NFMP, PRTG, Cisco Prime, Ericsson ENM, Huawei U2020, Nokia NetAct, etc.
- Strong expertise in programming and automation, with hands-on experience in Python, Power BI, and SQL for data management and analysis.
- Skilled in developing automated workflows and dashboards to improve operational efficiency.
- Technical/Process leader for the Operation and Maintenance of the Mobile and Wireless Networks.
- Excellent knowledge of Radio Access Network including NSN/Huawei/Ericsson 2G/3G/4G/5G; Cisco Wi-Fi, RTN Transmission, and AAA.
Skills
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with wireless products from Huawei, Nokia, etc.
- Strong understanding and experience with Cisco wireless access points, both indoor and outdoor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel automation and VBA scripting.
- Continuously learning and adapting to emerging technologies in automation, AI, and data science.
- Handle and manage Network Incidents within SLA.
Contract and Travel Details
- This position may require availability for shift work, including weekends and holidays, to ensure continuous network coverage.
