Position

The purpose of this position is to lead a team of telecom services performance engineers in all of the domains of IT and network to perform the system, applications, network, service, and subscriber level KPI’s monitoring, reporting, and analytics to ensure smooth network operations for business continuity and service availability. Automation of performance tasks and procedures to help reduce manual work and bring effectiveness. Gather and report metrics and create dashboards to track the performance and KPIs of service operations teams to maintain and enhance the quality of eitc services. Additionally, investigate and identify the gaps and shortfalls of issues escalated by service operations management that are causing an impact on service operations.

  • Managing network, service, and subscriber level KPIs monitoring, reporting, and analytics in all telecom domains to ensure smooth operations, trigger campaigns, and initiatives to improve overall end-to-end service performance.
  • Represent the technology team in TRA consultations, providing the regulation team with all network performance related TRA requirements.
  • Analyze gathered data for performance anomalies/exceptions and investigate performance issues to communicate them to concerned teams.
  • Design and communicate different performance dashboards to report all internal operational KPIs such as incident handling, time to resolve outages, and task delivery success rates.
  • Provide recommendations for performance improvement and perform periodic data and reporting quality audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering.
  • Leadership and management certifications.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a role in the Telecom industry, with involvement in Telecom Services Performance.
  • Advanced understanding of all telecom domains, with advanced skills in data analysis, visualization, machine learning modeling, and artificial intelligence applications.

Skills

  • Proven ability to lead large transformation projects.
  • Strong negotiation and facilitation skills, with a proven track record of managing vendors.
  • Strong management skills in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
