Key Accountabilities
Job Specific Accountabilities

  • Collaborates with various stakeholders, including Integrity, Production, Projects, and Maintenance Support, for preparation of shutdown plans and work programs aligned with the company's Business Plan.
  • Produces, develops, and updates the Seven-Year Integrated Activity Plan, including engineering & maintenance schemes, barge/boat plan, WHT campaign, major inspections/overhauls, and shutdowns plan.
  • Develops and maintains plans for maintenance barges.
  • Prepares and monitors the major maintenance budget and relevant phasing.
  • Develops worklist for WHT Major Maintenance and creates execution schedule for maintenance campaigns.
  • Updates the bedding plan in accordance with each scheme’s schedule by coordinating with job officers.
  • Monitors deviations from work programs, reporting possible impacts and recommending corrective actions to team leaders. Liaises with planning & cost coordination units for effective monitoring of work programs regarding duration, target dates, resources, and materials. Coordinates with Commercial Division personnel to ensure proper identification of required materials.

  • Plans, supervises, and coordinates all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
  • Trains and develops assigned staff on relevant skills to ensure proficiency and achievement of section objectives.

Budgets

  • Provides input for preparation of Section/Department budgets and assists in the implementation of approved budgets and work plans.
  • Investigates and highlights significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

  • Implements approved Section/Department policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures to support the execution of work programs in accordance with company and International standards.

Performance Management

  • Contributes to achieving the approved Performance Objectives for the Section/Department in line with the company's Performance framework.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Designs and implements new tools and techniques to enhance the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
  • Identifies process improvements against best practices to pursue greater efficiency in alignment with ISO standards.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

  • Complies with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, and applicable legislation while following sustainability guidelines in line with international standards and best practices.

Reports

  • Provides inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for company Management.

Communications & Working Relationships
Internal

  • Maintains regular contact with Field, Operations Support, Production Assurance, Maintenance, and Engineering departments to ensure effective communication.
  • Has frequent contact with work associates in Abu Dhabi and super complexes up to Team Leader level for discussing shutdown preparation and coordinating work activities.
  • Engages with the S/D committee and stakeholders regarding Shutdown issues.

External

  • Maintains frequent contact with concession holders to address requirements and during site visits.
  • Regularly interacts with contractors’ agents/representatives at an equivalent level to discuss work requirements and evaluate performance.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from a recognized university.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  • 5-6 years of experience in multi-discipline planning of Engineering and Maintenance activities within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Proficient in English.
