About the Role
This role is responsible for planning and executing the activities of LPG terminals, depots, and CNG stations. The key objectives include optimizing fleet and equipment utilization, managing LPG cylinder production, distribution, and storage, while ensuring adherence to the company's HSSEQ standards. Specific responsibilities involve reviewing operations procedures, preparing contract scopes, and evaluating contractor performance. The candidate will also support proposal development for significant modifications and technology updates, while consolidating operational expenditures (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX), and monitoring performance against budget metrics.

Key Responsibilities
- Production, Material & Manpower Planning:
- Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts.
- Ensure production targets meet sales requirements, implementing ISO-compliant processes to enhance production.
- Prepare material requirements for LPG cylinders and accessories, reviewing production capabilities and equipment.
- Calculate productivity for production lines and optimize manpower utilization to minimize overtime.
- Distribution Planning (LPG, Propane, Butane & CNG):
- Create yearly, quarterly, and monthly distribution plans to meet sales forecasts.
- Plan maintenance and shutdowns of terminals and stations, ensuring procedures are followed for operational reliability.
- Oversee predictive and preventive maintenance activities to ensure safe operation of plants.
- Inventory Control:
- Monitor product losses/gains, compiling monthly stock and product movement statements at depots.
- Ensure strategic stock levels of LPG are maintained in accordance with planned minimums.
- Coordinate with refining and gas processing departments for product supply reconciliation.
- Budgeting and Control:
- Prepare and review annual capital and operational budgets, monitoring compliance periodically.
- Identify budget variances and provide feedback on potential reasons for those variances.
- Performance Management, Reporting, and Improvements:
- Compile timely data on division performance, including major accidents, production progress, and budgeting reports.
- Supply Chain Planning (LPG, Propane, Butane & CNG):
- Formulate monthly, quarterly, and yearly product demand plans aligned with sales forecasts.
- Support management in addressing any supply disruptions.
- Management of Contracts:
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with company standards for technical, safety, quality, and environmental practices.
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions to enhance project completion efficiency.
- Evaluate contractors for LPG & CNG services, ensuring compliance with the company's HSEMS.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in special studies and report preparation, contributing to risk mitigation and business continuity plans.
- Participate in internal audits and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
- Collaborate on employee engagement initiatives and digital transformation projects.
- Prepare progress reports for weekly management meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant field.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- 6-8 years of experience in LPG or CNG operations with a focus on planning.
Professional Certifications
Work Conditions, Physical Effort & Work Environment
- Physical Effort: Maximum computer work; exposure to travel, standing, and inspections (up to 30% of working time).
- Work Environment: 60% in an A/C environment and 40% outdoors.
