Engineer, Projects (Technical Projects Department - GO)

The role involves contributing to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department in line with the company Performance framework. This position also focuses on designing and implementing new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes. Additionally, it emphasizes identifying improvements in internal processes against industry best practices to define intelligent solutions for operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section in line with the company Performance framework.
• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
• Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation in line with international standards.
• Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for company Management.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor Degree in engineering.
• 6 years of experience in engineering multi-disciplinary functions for the design of assets and facilities, exposed to preparation of Front End Engineering and Design packages.
• Knowledge of gas extraction and processing plant operations, production engineering principles, and project management.
• Good engineering concepts and FEED experience.
• Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations relevant to project engineering.
• Knowledge of HSE principles and their application relevant to the Oil & Gas industry.

Professional Certifications

• Professional qualification in Project Management e.g. PMP.
