RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designs, maintains, and executes functional, regression, integration, API, and UI test cases
- Develops and maintains automated test scripts (UI/API) using approved automation frameworks
- Performs defect identification, documentation, triage, and root-cause analysis
- Participates in planning, backlog grooming, and requirement reviews to ensure testability and clarity
- Ensures that all features meet acceptance criteria, NFRs, and internal quality standards before release
- Collaborates with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes
- Conducts smoke tests, sanity tests, and release validation for each deployment
- Executes performance, load, and security test scenarios where required
- Maintains QA documentation including test plans, test reports, and regression suites
- Supports continuous improvement of testing processes, automation coverage, and QA tooling
- Conducts environment validation, data validation, and test data preparation
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
- 5-7 years of QA/testing experience in software development (Python or Golang)
- ISTQB Foundation or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Hands-on experience with test management tools
- Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
- Strong API testing skills (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
- Working knowledge of SQL, databases, and data validation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Understanding of version control (Git)
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust) is a plus
- Basic understanding of security testing concepts (OWASP Top 10)
