We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure the highest product quality. The responsibilities include reviewing specifications, creating detailed test plans and cases, coordinating testing activities, automating scripts, tracking bugs, and collaborating with internal teams to meet system requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review requirements and technical documents to provide timely feedback.
- Create structured test plans and test cases.
- Coordinate testing activities and manage priorities.
- Design and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Identify, document, and track bugs effectively.
- Conduct thorough regression testing.
- Develop testing processes for various products.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify system needs.
- Monitor debugging results and investigate software issues.
- Track QA metrics such as defect densities.
- Keep updated with new testing tools and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years programming experience and proven experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and defect life cycles.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments, preferably within AI or Analytics sectors.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience in API testing with Postman and performance testing with JMeter.
- Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium and database testing (MySQL).
- Tech-ops insights (Kubernetes, Docker, cloud services) are a plus.
