Job Specific Accountabilities

  • Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Asset Performance Management (APM), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies to promote proactive preventive maintenance and condition monitoring.
  • Identify and apply suitable maintenance strategies to minimize the impact of failures on business performance.
  • Lead and participate in both Brown Field and Green Field Engineering activities to improve reliability and optimize maintenance costs.
  • Focus on early identification of equipment issues through predictive tools and reliability methods to prevent failures.
  • Maintain a bad factor listing and report on findings; research and provide technical advice for upgrading and refurbishing mechanical equipment during major overhauls or new installations.
  • Review packages for new projects and make recommendations regarding equipment selection, redundancy, and alert on equipment obsolescence.
  • Recommend necessary modifications or replacements for equipment to resolve technical issues.
  • Assist operational sites in developing appropriate monitoring techniques that accurately reflect the condition of equipment.
  • Lead specific schemes or works allocated to Reliability Engineering across various disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience, including at least 4 years in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
