Job Specific Accountabilities

  • Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Asset Performance Management (APM), and Reliability Center Maintenance (RCM) studies to shift maintenance from reactive to proactive strategies.
  • Identify and implement appropriate maintenance strategies that minimize the impact of failures on business performance.
  • Lead and participate in Brown Field/Green Field (BF/GF) Engineering activities aimed at improving reliability and optimizing maintenance costs.
  • Proactively identify equipment issues through predictive tools and Reliability methods before they escalate into failures.
  • Maintain and manage the bad factor listing and reporting.
  • Research and offer technical advice regarding upgrading and refurbishment of mechanical equipment during major overhauls or new installations.
  • Review project packages, recommend equipment selections, assess redundancy, and participate in equipment review processes while alerting on potential obsolescence of equipment.
  • Advise on necessary modifications or replacements of equipment to address technical issues.
  • Assist operational sites in developing monitoring techniques that accurately reflect the real-time conditions of equipment.
  • Lead specific reliability engineering schemes or projects across different disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated expertise in reliability engineering and related fields.

Professional Certifications

  • Certifications as applicable.
