Engineer, Reliability (Reliability Team - Habshan)

This position focuses on providing technical expertise in reliability engineering to enhance the efficiency of operations within the technical and operational divisions. The Engineer will be involved in activities related to reliability assessment and monitoring, contributing significantly to the reliability of engineering processes and equipment management.

Responsibilities include conducting Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Asset Performance Management (APM), and Reliability Center Maintenance (RCM) studies, aimed at transforming maintenance practices from reactive to proactive. The Engineer will also identify effective maintenance strategies to minimize operational disruptions and will lead engineering projects to improve reliability while optimizing costs. The role emphasizes predictive techniques to detect equipment issues before failures occur, maintaining oversight on mechanical project upgrades, and ensuring equipment selection aligns with reliability goals.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a relevant equivalent qualification. A minimum of 6 years of industry experience, preferably in oil and gas, is required to effectively handle the technical challenges of the role. Professional certifications may also be required.
