Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 technical support for network-related issues, incidents, and service requests.
- Analyze and resolve complex network problems using troubleshooting tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 3 support teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Perform network capacity planning and optimization for high performance and reliability.
- Conduct network audits and assessments to identify improvement areas and implement necessary changes.
- Install, configure, and maintain wireless network equipment, including access points, routers, and controllers.
- Monitor network performance and address issues or outages to minimize downtime.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in network technologies.
- Train and mentor junior network engineers to enhance their networking skills.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in network engineering or similar roles.
- Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting wireless networking technologies and 802.11 standards.
- Expertise in network security principles, including encryption and access control.
- Familiarity with industry-leading network vendors, such as Cisco, Aruba, and Huawei.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (SNMP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and TCP/IP.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (Wireshark, SNMP, etc.) and troubleshooting techniques.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Industry-leading certifications are a plus.
- Language Proficiency: English.
