Key Responsibilities:
- Drive scope definition, specification, and architecture for all services in the CI/CD pipeline that power the Presight delivery model.
- Foster a positive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) culture that promotes frequent releases, high levels of automation, and software reliability.
- Lead and troubleshoot high-priority incidents impacting the organization, providing timely support to quickly resolve critical incidents.
- Identify application patterns and analytics to support better service level objectives while integrating self-service and resiliency patterns.
- Review and modify CI/CD principles and service maturity iteratively, striving for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to propose, architect, and implement innovative and transformational solutions for Presight.
- Champion SRE approaches across strategic systems to predict and prevent disruptive events and improve solution availability.
- Design and enable automated change, release, and upgrade management practices for existing products and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with defined IT governance controls, standards, and practices.
- Improve service availability and scalability through tuning, automation, tools, and processes.
- Manage 24/7 on-call support.
- Analyze service performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide measurable improvement plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters concerning customers to develop a trusted advisor relationship with executive sponsors by understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
- Comply with Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance policies and plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in DevOps operations and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud, Linux, Kubernetes, and Python is essential.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and DevOps processes is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Azure or any public cloud is required.
- At least 3 years of experience with architectural knowledge and understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- A highly detail-oriented and methodical approach to problem solving is desired.
- A passion for technology, troubleshooting, and customer service must be evident.
- Strong analytical mind and excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
