The Opportunity:
We are seeking a performance-driven, focused, and committed individual for the role of Engineer-Site Reliability at Presight.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the operation and maintenance of our products daily.
- Handle frontline customer management for reported incidents and take necessary actions.
- Ensure maximum uptime of deployments and perform system updates such as patches, hotfixes, or upgrades.
- Participate in escalation, issue triage, technical support processes, and incident management.
- Assist with prioritization of technical issues and coordinate resolution efforts with clients.
- Monitor, support, and administer production environments, including bare metal and cloud environments.
- Design and maintain automation code for deployment and configuration of systems and services.
- Follow production deployment procedures and ensure compliance with network and security standards.
- Document day-to-day support activities and contribute to the knowledge base.
- Adhere to policies regarding Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE), Business Continuity, Information Security, and Compliance Management.
Qualifications:
- Eight (8) years of product administration experience in a Linux-based environment (RHEL, CentOS, Debian & Ubuntu).
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as a Hadoop administrator with expert-level knowledge of Cloud Operations.
- Experience with big data platforms and automation tools such as Ansible and Helm Charts.
- Knowledge of data warehousing best practices, including business intelligence and continuity planning.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring platforms such as Zabbix and Grafana.
- Experience in Air Gapped infrastructure administration.
- Competency in Linux administration and basic networking troubleshooting.
- Experience working with Private, Public, and Hybrid Cloud, in an Agile environment.
