Responsibilities
- Own the daily Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of our products, ensuring system health and performance.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer incidents, providing frontline management and taking necessary actions to restore service.
- Guarantee maximum uptime for all deployments by performing system updates, patches, hotfixes, and upgrades.
- Act as a key participant in the incident management process, including issue triage, technical support, and escalation management.
- Assist in prioritizing technical issues, facilitate escalations to the engineering team, and coordinate resolutions with clients to ensure clear communication.
- Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans and related risk assessments.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of product administration experience in Linux-based environments (RHEL, CentOS, Debian & Ubuntu).
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Hadoop Administrator with Expert-level knowledge of Cloud Operations.
- Must have prior experience managing Big Data platforms using automation tools like Ansible and Helm Charts.
- Must have knowledge of best practices for Data Warehousing, including business intelligence and business continuity planning.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring platforms (Zabbix, Grafana) and working closely with data delivery teams.
- Proven experience in the implementation and ongoing administration of applications in Air-Gapped infrastructure.
- Strong competency in Linux administration (security, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, monitoring) and basic networking troubleshooting.

- You excel at monitoring, supporting, and administering production environments, from initial onboarding to upgrades and recovery for both bare-metal and cloud infrastructures.
- You have an eye for detail, designing and maintaining automation code for the deployment and configuration of systems (Infrastructure & Application) and services.
- You follow production deployment procedures and design the best technical approaches while ensuring network and security compliance.
- You adhere to production support processes, documenting daily activities and contributing to the team's knowledge base.
- You have the ability to transform ambiguity into clarity, tackling complex problems with a structured approach.
- You enjoy collaborating in a multicultural and diverse environment that expands to include various geographic locations by using cutting-edge technologies.
- You possess stellar communication skills, effectively expressing yourself and conveying information in a clear, credible, and consistent manner.
