Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support for Azure public cloud and on-premises environments to ensure efficient and secure system performance.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters using Helm and ArgoCD for continuous delivery.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python and Bash to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance, apply necessary patches and upgrades, and manage databases in isolated environments.
- Participate in issue triage, escalation, and technical support processes for timely incident resolution.
- Collaborate with the Data team to manage Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other cloud data services.
- Administer and manage cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with security best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Eight years of experience in Linux-based environments and a minimum of five years as a Hadoop administrator.
- Strong knowledge of cloud operations and experience with automation tools like Ansible and Helm Charts.
- Proficiency in Linux administration, basic networking troubleshooting, and best practices for data warehousing.
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and DevOps tools are a plus.
