About the Role
Join our team to manage and ensure the compliant delivery of all engineering services aligned with our organization's statement of work and delivery methods. In this role, you will oversee the Playbook and Operational Compliance Program (OCP) delivery and reporting according to our contractual matrix. You will manage all aspects of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, Project Works, and Help Desk Calls, ensuring alignment with both client and organizational requirements. You will also support senior engineering management to uphold health, safety, and environmental (HSE) and contractual compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure contractual compliance with all engineering delivery while managing technical delivery and governance of contract requirements.
  • Monitor engineering personnel training requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee all contract activities for maintenance and projects; manage safety aspects as per site procedures.
  • Drive and deliver innovative cost reduction and sustainability programs.
  • Support preparation of budget documentation related to engineering delivery for client approvals.
  • Provide cross-regional support during peak workloads and cover for engineering senior management during absences.
  • Supervise all staff including full-time, part-time, sub-contractors, and specialist providers.
  • Offer proactive technical guidance regarding preventative maintenance and additional works.
  • Maintain compliance with all procedures and keep clear and legible records.
  • Participate in emergency out-of-hours escalations and provide written incident reports as required.
  • Develop and sign off detailed planning of IST Testing activities in collaboration with the local team, ensuring cohesive delivery during events.
  • Coordinate test windows with internal clients and manage documentation through Service Now.

Support the critical environments manager and engineering teams to ensure the following activities are completed and documented:

  • Implementation and validation of Playbook Procedures.
  • Timely updates regarding operational risks to the regional team.
  • Critical Asset tracker updates to prevent critical failures.
  • Annual Plant Condition Assessment execution.
  • Management of Critical Spares Inventory.
  • PPM Plan aligned with the client’s Critical Site Infrastructure (CSI) matrix.
  • Oversight of Change Requests pertaining to works impacting critical services.
  • Testing and recording of Fire Systems.
  • Resolution of actions assigned from audits and assurance visits; creation and tracking of gap plans.
  • Management of direct report personnel.
  • Participation in succession planning, development requirements, and training as directed by Regional Engineering Management.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Critical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years in a lead or management role.
  • Experience coordinating with Infrastructure and Fit-Out Projects.
  • Managing operations across diverse countries and cultures.

Qualifications
Essential:

  • Recognized Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.

Desirable:

  • Fluent in Arabic.
  • Authorized Person (High Voltage / Mechanical Systems / Confined Space).
  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or recognized equivalent.
  • Professional accreditations.
  • NEBOSH or Equivalent.
