Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the Options Engineering team.
- Utilize hands-on experience in systematic options trading, ideally including options market-making, automated quoting, execution, and risk management.
- Own and evolve an existing Rust-native systematic options trading platform.
- Provide strong technical direction in trading infrastructure, system design, performance, reliability, and risk controls.
- Collaborate with trading, quant, product, risk, and infrastructure teams to address complex engineering challenges.
Required Experience:
- 7+ years in systematic trading, options market-making, or low-latency trading systems.
- Proficiency in Rust, C++, or C, with a willingness to become deeply proficient in Rust if not already.
- Strong understanding of algorithmic options trading, including automated quoting and execution.
- Experience in building or maintaining low-latency trading systems, preferably in options or derivatives markets.
- Working knowledge of SQL databases in production, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with functional testing, component testing, and production-grade validation practices.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and production reliability; experience with gRPC and Node.js services is preferred.
- Prior experience with crypto exchange connectivity or FPGA technologies is strongly preferred.
