Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering organization with multidisciplinary engineers.
  • Oversee the architecture, design, and delivery of AI-enabled systems ensuring scalability and compliance with local regulations.
  • Establish best practices in version control, CI/CD, testing, observability, and infrastructure automation.
  • Drive modernization of cloud and on-prem infrastructure, including containerization and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Architect and govern robust data pipelines for real-time analytics and AI workflows.
  • Provide technical direction on software design patterns and system integrations.
  • Ensure reliability and uptime through proactive Site Reliability Engineering practices.
  • Lead capacity planning, cost optimization, and environment management across multi-cloud and on-premise ecosystems.
  • Guide recruitment, technical assessments, and professional development across engineering teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 6+ years of experience in senior technical roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience in:
    • Software Engineering: Full-stack development with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, and/or Angular.
    • Data Engineering: Expertise in ETL design, data modeling, and orchestration tools.
    • Site Reliability Engineering: Proficiency in Linux systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, security best practices, and observability.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling teams and ensuring delivery excellence.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML solution deployment and MLOps pipelines is highly desirable.
