About the Job:
The company's engineering team in KSA is growing, and this role is central to that growth. As Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of five to eight engineers, owning their day-to-day delivery, technical development, and overall experience at the company. You will focus on making the team function well by removing blockers, facilitating effective rituals, providing clear and honest feedback, and ensuring high-quality work is delivered. What You'll Be Doing:

Team Delivery:
- Own the delivery commitments of your team, ensuring clear planning and high standards.
- Run effective sprint ceremonies and maintain adherence to process disciplines.
- Identify and remove blockers early; escalate issues as necessary.
- Address technical debt with your team in a structured manner.

People and Talent Development:
- Conduct regular one-on-ones to provide constructive feedback and support growth.
- Contribute to the hiring process by reviewing applications and conducting interviews.
- Support the onboarding process for new engineers.
- Identify engineers ready for more responsibility and facilitate their progression.

Technical Contribution:
- Stay involved with the technical work, contributing to code reviews and discussions.
- Ensure compliance with the company's engineering standards, especially in a regulated environment.
- Collaborate with peer engineering managers to maintain consistency across the KSA engineering function.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with 1 to 2 years in a leadership role (e.g., principal, tech lead, team lead, or engineering manager).
- Hands-on experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Proven ability to help engineers grow through mentorship and feedback.
- Experience in an agile delivery environment, confidently managing sprint ceremonies and backlogs.
- Strong communication skills in English, capable of translating technical progress and risk for non-technical stakeholders.
