We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Deployment Engineering team in the Middle East. This role is unique, requiring a hands-on leader who drives impact and leads from the front. You will manage a team of Forward Deployed Engineers responsible for deploying the company's North platform into customer environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Forward Deployed Engineers.
  • Oversee the end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Ensure customer success from technical implementation through to delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to enhance AI delivery to enterprises.
  • Mentor your team on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and enterprise-grade deployments.
  • Optimize performance for OpenSearch, databases, and other Kubernetes services.
  • Define scaling guidelines for GPU and CPU compute resources.
  • Build processes and technology that scale in a fast-growing environment.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with proven leadership capability.
  • Hands-on experience deploying enterprise software at scale.
  • Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • High agency; proactive in problem-solving.
  • A doer mentality; able to execute efficiently.
  • Experience managing engineers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are required.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in additional European languages is a plus.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with AI/ML infrastructure.
  • Background in enterprise security and compliance.
