We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Deployment Engineering team in the Middle East. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive impact and mentor a team of Forward Deployed Engineers in deploying the company's North platform into customer environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Forward Deployed Engineers.
- Manage end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments.
- Own customer success from technical implementation through delivery.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to deliver AI solutions to enterprises.
- Mentor the team in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and enterprise-grade deployments.
- Optimize performance for OpenSearch, databases, and other K8s services.
- Define scaling guidelines for GPU and CPU compute resources.
- Build processes and technology that scale with company growth.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with demonstrated leadership ability.
- Hands-on experience deploying enterprise software at scale.
- Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
- High agency with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- A doer mentality focused on getting things done.
- Experience managing engineers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice to Have:
- Fluency in additional European languages.
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure.
- Background in enterprise security and compliance.
