We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Deployment Engineering team in the Middle East. This role is not a typical management position; we need someone who leads from the front, gets their hands dirty, and drives impact. In this position, you will manage a team of Forward Deployed Engineers responsible for deploying the company's North platform into customer environments.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Remote-first)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Forward Deployed Engineers.
- Drive end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments.
- Take ownership of customer success from technical implementation through delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams.
- Mentor your team on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and enterprise-grade deployments.
- Optimize performance for OpenSearch, databases, and other Kubernetes services.
- Define scaling guidelines for GPU and CPU compute resources.
- Build scalable processes and technology.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with demonstrated leadership.
- Hands-on experience deploying enterprise software at scale.
- Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
- High agency; proactive in problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice to Haves:
- Fluency in additional European languages.
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure.
- Background in enterprise security and compliance.
