Position

The company is the leading security-first enterprise AI company, building cutting-edge foundation AI models and products to solve real-world business problems. We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Deployment Engineering team in the Middle East. This role is not a typical management position; we need someone who leads from the front, gets their hands dirty, and drives impact. In this position, you will manage a team of Forward Deployed Engineers responsible for deploying the company's North platform into customer environments.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Remote-first)
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Forward Deployed Engineers.
  • Drive end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Take ownership of customer success from technical implementation through delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams.
  • Mentor your team on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and enterprise-grade deployments.
  • Optimize performance for OpenSearch, databases, and other Kubernetes services.
  • Define scaling guidelines for GPU and CPU compute resources.
  • Build scalable processes and technology.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with demonstrated leadership.
  • Hands-on experience deploying enterprise software at scale.
  • Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • High agency; proactive in problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to Haves:

  • Fluency in additional European languages.
  • Experience with AI/ML infrastructure.
  • Background in enterprise security and compliance.
