We have an immediate job opportunity for the position of Engineering Manager (GoLang). As a Senior, hands-on technical lead for backend systems, you will focus on Go and high-scale services. You will be responsible for owning architecture, delivery, and mentoring new team members in the onboarding/KYC backend flows.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Experience Required: 10 to 20 Years
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and lead the implementation of scalable backend services in Go.
- Own system architecture, API design, and service boundaries.
- Drive performance, reliability, and security for KYC and verification workflows.
- Lead code reviews and enforce quality and best practices.
- Mentor engineers and guide their technical growth and career development.
- Coordinate cross-functional integration with product and QA.
- Support CI/CD, observability, and incident response.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Go.
- Proven experience in designing high-scale, distributed systems.
- Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and database design.
- Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS), Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, observability (logs/metrics/tracing).
- Strong system design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership in technical settings.
- Fintech or digital wallet experience; regulatory/compliance awareness.
- Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ, Redis, Terraform, and Helm.
- Experience leading migrations, large-scale refactors, or resilience improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
