You will collaborate with other Engineering Managers, product managers, and architects to produce an engineering roadmap with ambitious yet achievable goals. A deep understanding of programming languages, architecture, and components utilized by your team, particularly open-source machine learning tools like Kubeflow, MLFlow, and Feast, is essential.
Key responsibilities include managing a distributed team of engineers and their MLOps/Analytics portfolio, conducting one-on-one meetings with team members and identifying team health indicators, reviewing code and maintaining healthy engineering practices, and mentoring direct reports while attending conferences to represent the company.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven professional experience in software delivery.
- Proficient Python development experience, preferably in open source.
- A sound understanding of machine learning and MLOps solutions.
- Exceptional academic performance, ideally from both high school and university.
- Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
Preferred Skills:
While not mandatory, the following skills may enhance your application:
- Experience with machine learning libraries or tools.
- Track record in building automated machine learning solutions in the cloud.
- Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, LXD, Kubernetes).
- Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and the Linux ecosystem.
- Passion for software quality and testing, with contributions to open source projects.
Language Requirements:
