As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and grow a dedicated team of 8-10 engineers responsible for core trading backend services such as the matching engine, market data gateways, and order entry systems. You will guide the team in evolving our trading stack from legacy systems to modern solutions. This role requires a hands-on manager who stays technically engaged, capable of unblocking, reviewing, and participating in architecture discussions while also providing coding support. You will actively champion performance and market data initiatives, collaborate with product teams to drive roadmap execution, and clearly communicate technical progress to stakeholders.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience managing engineering teams with a focus on technical engagement.
• Hands-on experience in distributed and/or highly-concurrent systems, and in low-latency and/or high-volume transaction environments.
• Proficiency in Rust and/or C++, with familiarity in tech stacks that include Go and Python.
• Knowledge of order types, trading systems, and financial products; experience with Aeron or similar messaging systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency/blockchain is highly preferable.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines.
• A Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field.
