Responsibilities
- Manage and lead multidisciplinary project engineering activities across all project phases, ensuring alignment with the company's strategies and project requirements.
- Serve as the focal point for engineering management, coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, PMC, licensors, and contractors to ensure technical compliance and achievement of project objectives.
- Review contractor engineering strategies and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry best practices.
- Ensure implementation of engineering standards, codes, specifications, and best practices throughout project execution.
- Coordinate engineering support during construction, commissioning, and handover phases to support operational readiness.
- Maintain effective engagement with vendors, OEMs, and external technical stakeholders throughout project execution.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in multidisciplinary project engineering management across the project lifecycle from ASSESS to EXECUTE.
- Proven experience in managing FEED, detailed engineering, EPC execution, and commissioning activities.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and technical decision-making skills.
- Experience in brownfield modifications and capacity enhancement projects.
- Strong understanding of the company's/VAP requirements, engineering assurance, and technical governance.
Expected Deliverables in the First 6 to 12 Months
- Establish effective engineering governance and technical assurance across assigned projects.
- Improve engineering alignment between Project Teams, Engineering Functions, Operations, EPC Contractors, and the company's Group companies.
- Enhance engineering performance through proactive management of technical risks and contractor deliverables.
